OPEN
ACCESS CHARGES:-- |

The
Commission vide order dt. 15.02.2006 passed in petition no. 03/2006(M) had
determined open access charges for the first time. Subsequently these
charges were revised in Tariff order for FY 2006-07. By this order the rates
of some of these charges are revised and the following charges are approved
by the Commission for the FY 07-08: |

Transmission Charge :- |
(i) 4.03
% in kind which will be deducted from the energy input. |
| |
(ii) Rs.
63030 per MW or part thereof per month for long-term open access: and Rs.
518 per MW or part thereof per day for short-term open access. |

| (b)
Wheeling Charges :- |
i) 6% in
kind which will be deducted from the energy input at 33KV |
| |
ii) 15
paise / Unit in cash. |

c) Operating Charges
