Incentive to Consumers
Following incentives have been provided to the H.T. consumers :
1. Concessional tariff to H.T. consumers @ Rs. 2.80 per unit having consumption more than the calculated average monthly consumption circular No. CE(Comm.)/492, Raipur Dtd. 08.06.2001 and CE(Comm)/IX/1500, Raipur Dtd. 12.09.2001.
2. Revival of closed Ferro Alloy units in the State of Chhattisgarh – applicability of concessional tariff @ Rs. 2.50 per unit circular No. CE/Comml/2856, Raipur Dtd. 14.02.2002 and No.329 Dtd. 09.05.2002.
i ) No demand charge will be payable.
ii ) On revival of closed Ferro Alloy units their electricity consumption shall be exempted from payment of electricity duty till further instructions from State Govt, Cess shall be payable @ 01 paise per unit.
iii ) For revival of Ferro Alloy units they shall not be required to pay supply affording charges, if infrastructure is already available.
iv ) Amount of surcharge as appearing in the last energy bill at the time of permanent disconnection shall be waived off.
v ) Payment of arrears in 60 installments as provided in the scheme.
vi ) Revived Ferro Alloy units shall not be entitled for T.O.D. tariff or any other concession.
3. Special package of concessional power tariff for cement industries @ Rs. 2.50 per unit Circular No. CE/Comml/100, Raipur Dtd. 11.4.2002.
4. Revival of closed industries, special package thereof. Circular No. CE/Comml/2670, Raipur Dtd. 30.01.2002.
