Stopped / Defective Meter
1. Application/intimation to be given to the J.E./A.E. of the concerned D/C/area for replacement of meter.
2. Average billing based on last 3 months previous consumption to be done and to be reviewed after six months after installation of new meter.
3. Normally, the defective meter will be replaced within a month after date of intimation, depending on availability. The power consumer meter should be replaced within 15 days.
4. For the period the meter remains defective, meter hire shall not be billed.
